If you’re looking for some extra volume and dimension, try mixing your acrylic paint with one of the Amsterdam gel mediums. These mediums offer a sharper, more pasty texture and will give your work a glossy or matte finish depending on the gel you choose. Adding more of this medium will give you a higher transparency of the color. Due to their adhesive properties, these gels also work well for various mixed media techniques.
